Library Card Number

• Students: Use your Matric Number (format: BHU/00/00/00/0000) — all uppercase, no spacing.
• Staff: Use your Staff Number (format: SP000) — all uppercase, no spacing.

Home Library Assignment

• Science and IJMB students → Library Annex
• Medical students → Basic Medical Library
• Social Sciences, Mass Media, Arts, and Administration students → Main Library
• Law students → Law Library
• Environmental Science students → Environmental Science Library

Category Classification

• Degree students → Undergraduate Student
• PGD, M.Sc., Ph.D. students → Postgraduate Student
• IJMB students → Pre-degree Student
• Academic staff → Teaching Staff
• Non-academic staff → Non-Teaching Staff

Address Requirements

• Students: Department, Hostel Name, and Room Number
• Staff: Official Office Address

Phone Numbers

• Primary Phone: Your personal phone number
• Secondary Phone: Parent or Guardian phone number

Submission Process

1. Fill ALL form fields completely.
2. Submit the online registration form.
3. Submit TWO (2) passport photographs to your Home Library.
4. Write your Name, Department, and Matric Number on the back of each passport photograph.
